Sidewinder Labs
Why Sidewinder?
A sidewinder is a desert rattlesnake that moves sideways across loose sand — fast, efficient, leaving its distinctive tracks. It's also the name of a guided missile known for speed and agility. And a snake is a fitting mascot for a tool built on Python.
Why this exists
Data work tends to be split across tools that don't talk to each other: a spreadsheet for cleaning, a script for loading, a notebook for analysis, something else for charts. Each handover loses context, and nobody can reconstruct how a number was produced.
Flow Studio puts the whole path on one canvas — preparing, transforming, loading, exploring — with every step as readable code and every intermediate result open to inspection.
Who's behind it
Sidewinder Labs is Evan Kouravelos, based in Athens — a data and BI practitioner with a background in enterprise analytics platforms. Flow Studio started as a tool for real pipelines and is now developed in the open.
